Spoiler alert! (But not really.)

When we say "carefully curated" we mean it!  Here is a **censored** version of Sheela's Advent calendar planning sheet... to make sure you don't end up colouring a snowflake two days in a row or some other nonsense.

It's almost December 1st!!! Are you ready to get colouring? New colouring pages are posted every day at midnight starting in 1.5 hours!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today I am wishing all my American friends and family a very happy Thanksgiving!  For me, Thanksgiving also marks the start of the Christmas season.  Here is a special treat  - a Thanksgiving cornucopia for you to color (dropping the U today for my U.S. pals).

Includes plenty of mystery fruits and vegetables - what colors will you use???

On the Colouring Advent Calendar

My friend Megan and I completed a fairly thorough investigation of weird and wonderful Advent calendars available in the world. One that she really wanted, but was unable to acquire, was an Advent calendar that produced a new, festive image to colour every day. Thus this blog was born.

If you have found your way here via the back channels of late night Googling and social media clicking, I hope you enjoy.  Otherwise you are probably Megan or my mom, so thanks for being here! See you soon! xo.

On Advent

I don't know a lot about Advent but Wikipedia knows stuff, right? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advent

I encourage y'all to find out more! Learning is fun!

Or, leave a comment and tell me about it. You are probably smarter than me.

On Colouring

I thought I hated colouring. I KNOW I'm bad at it. But recently a good friend bought me an "adult" colouring book of beautifully drawn mandalas and before I knew it I was buried in it for hours. My colouring job didn't look all that good, but I felt great.

I'm a big believer in the importance of spending time daily away from screens (no work on the computer, no Netflix, no TV, NO PHONE), and if you're not in the mood for reading doing some colouring is a great -- and relaxing -- way to spend some time.
